Who we are

Ian is a Chartered Secretary with a Masters degree in financial management (with distinction). He has also completed the Corporate Finance Evening Programme at the London Business School. Prior to establishing Throgmorton he gained broad financial and general management experience in international banking and financial services in both UK-listed plcs and private limited companies.

Ian has held senior management positions in a number of multi-nationals and plcs including British Telecom. He was Group Company Secretary in Europe for Salomon Brothers and latterly for Bankers Trust. He worked extensively on the merger of the Bankers Trust Legal entity and branch structure into Deutsche Bank and managed the integration of the respective secretariat functions.

Ian has expertise in all European jurisdictions, the USA and other major jurisdictions around the world.
