Cricket Challenge & Summer Garden Party

Since 2011 we have held an annual Cricket Challenge. This has been a hugely enjoyable event with a day of friendly but intense competition in the stunning surroundings of Burton’s Court.

This year's event was held at Burton's Court  on Friday 26 July 2013.  The Cricket Challenge took place throughout the day and we were joined by some of sport's finest including Zinzan BrookeDevon Malcolm, Scott StyrisCourtney WalshDarren Bicknell and more.

The garden party started, during which we were entertained by jazz musician Charlie Bicknell and "the German Ambassador of Comedy" Henning Wehn

At this year's event we, and our co-sponsors; Howden Risk Partners, Capital SupportRobert QuinnLEBCCarneHFM Week and Tibra Capital supported Chance to Shine who teach young people, from all walks of life, to play hard but fair.  Donations may also be made to other charities.

To raise money for charity, we organised Coaching Sessions for guests' children, held a silent auction and there was an Activity Area run by the professionals.

There are still some auction items up for grabs in our Online Auction which closes at midnight on Friday 9th August 2013.

MAKE A DONATION to Chance to Shine

Cricket’s over-riding ethos that it should be played not only within its Laws but also within the Spirit of the Game is one that we subscribe to in everything we do.

We have had the opportunity at past events to raise money for various other deserving charities such as:

The Lord's Taverners

The Prostate Cancer Charity

Cricket for Change
