Gracie is a qualified barrister, called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1995. She obtained her law degree at evening classes whilst working full-time for Compaq UK.
Prior to joining Throgmorton she spent six years with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst and Young, in Barbados, providing company secretarial services in the offshore sector. Experience was gained with entities such as international business companies, societies with restricted liabilities, offshore banks and captive insurance companies. The key and interesting focus for her was using her legal training to ensure compliance of local laws without compromising offshore rules and regulations.
Gracie returned to the UK in 2003 where she worked as an Interim company secretary. Areas covered were preparation of and attendance at Board, Shareholders and Committee meetings; preparation of minutes resulting from such meetings; liaising with legal counsel in other European jurisdictions on local procedures and practices; reviews and advice on Corporate Governance matters generally.
Gracie joined Throgmorton in 2007 having decided to resettle permanently in the UK at the behest of her two children.
Gracie loves kick-boxing, dancing and working-out generally. She has the first belt in kick-boxing but with her two active and avid sports enthusiastic children, she does not have the time to pursue these passions as much as she would like to.
