Mark is a chartered certified accountant with over 20 years experience in the profession.
During this time Mark has worked for a variety of regional, national and international accountancy firms providing audit and business consultancy services to a broad range of clients.
Mark gained hands on experience of the SME sector as an audit partner with a leading Oxfordshire accountancy practice where he worked for 7 years primarily helping owner managed businesses throughout their business life cycles remain compliant with all of their regulatory requirements including tax, audit and accounting.
Upon joining Throgmorton in 2007, Mark was a Trustee and Treasurer for Age Concern Oxfordshire and he was a volunteer professional advisor for RuralnetUK - an online charity and social enterprise network.
Away from work Mark used to be a keen rugby player and enjoyed touring on motorbikes around the UK and Europe. Age, marriage and children have curtailed these activities and now the occasional free time in the evenings is invested in developing an appreciation of red wine.
