Wendy Lock CPP, IOSH
HR/Health & Safety
Wendy is a member of the Human Resources Department with a working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
Prior to joining Throgmorton in 2005 she spent several years working in and attached to HM Forces in the UK, Europe and further afield.
Much of her experience and knowledge of Health and Safety developed whilst working within the NHS both in large hospitals and GP surgeries for 12 years, the last 4 of which were spent working in a large private Nursing Centre. As Administrator for the Centre Wendy was responsible for the HR and Health and Safety of over 100 employees and 70 residents, 50 of whom were elderly and 20 young physically disabled.
Outside of work Wendy is an enthusiastic supporter of Rugby Union with links to London Irish in Reading and Worcester Warriors, her home city. Wendy also helps out with charities linked to the Armed Forces, in particular SSAFA and the Help for Heroes campaign.
